Our Beginnings
The foundation for Heaner Design Group, LLC began nearly a half century ago when Heaner Engineering Company was opened for business in 1965 in Greenwood, South Carolina. With a primary interest in land surveying and civil engineering, Heaner Engineering Company became well-established within the industry by providing sound engineering and thorough land surveying services throughout the Upstate of South Carolina and beyond.
Over the next 30 years, Heaner Engineering Company developed into one of the more prominent design firms in the state of South Carolina, taking extreme pride in every project undertaken and every client satisfied..
Our Growth
In 1996, Heaner Engineering Company was reorganized to become Heaner, Inc. after an executive decision was made to expand its professional services to include those of architectural design and construction management. This vital expansion helped to propel our company over the next decade into a much more diversified design firm, leading to a major transformation in January of 2010 when Heaner Design Group, LLC was proudly formed under the guidance of new ownership and management. While the names may have changed throughout the years, our professionalism and dedication to each of our valued clients has remained constant.
Collectively, Heaner Design Group has provided its professional design services to the State of South Carolina for over 50 years, and its staff contributes over 70 years of combined experience and knowledge towards each new project.
Our Success
Heaner Design Group has successfully completed projects in the past utilizing multiple delivery systems including design/build, construction management, and conventional design/bid/construct. Our success has been driven largely by our thorough understanding of the complete design process, from conception all the way through construction.
